The approved national settlement for Sixties Scoop survivors provides $50 million to establish a Sixties Scoop Foundation. This Foundation is fully independent of government. And it is for everyone impacted by the Sixties Scoop, and primarily for survivors across the country—Inuit, First Nations, Métis, non-status—everyone. An Interim Board of this brand new Foundation has come together to guide the very first steps of its development.
