Right now, the Foundation is still in its development phase. This past year, the Foundation ran a nation-wide engagement process (paid for separately by the Government of Canada) to hear the voices of Survivors and get their direct input on how the Foundation can best serve them. That engagement process will conclude with a final report of recommendations to the Interim Board, grounded in Survivor’s feedback and aspirations for their Foundation. These recommendations will help guide and inform granting decisions.
