On this first Day for National Truth and Reconciliation, we recognize the legacy of Canada’s residential schools – a legacy of pain and loss that continues to cast a shadow over the lives of so many.
We acknowledge this day as one of reflection to honour the children, Survivors, families and communities who have been impacted. And we look for ways to heal in the spirit of reconciliation so that the past will never again be repeated.
The Administrator’s call centre will be closed today, Thursday, September 30, 2021, in observance of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, and in recognition of the legacy of residential schools. The call centre will open tomorrow, Friday October 1.
